My name is Daryus Chandra, a quantum information and communication enthusiast. Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher at Quantum Internet Research Group, Future Communications Laboratory, University of Naples Federico II, Italy. I’m working with Prof. Angela Sara Cacciapuoti and Prof. Marcello Caleffi. We are trying to conceive a noiseless quantum communication scheme within the Quantum Internet framework.
I obtained my doctoral degree at Next-Generation Wireless Research Group, School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, United Kingdom. My research project revolved around quantum information and communication theory, more specifically quantum error-control codes, under the supervision of Prof. Lajos Hanzo and Prof. Soon Xin Ng (Michael). For further information about my quantum-related works, you may visit my Google Scholar and ResearchGate profile.
Outside my academic life, I love running, a half-marathon finisher, aiming for the full one. Learning new languages is also fun and now I’m progressing with my German, Italian, and Mandarin. You can add me on Duolingo (I have 500+ days streak). I try to read more, although I have to admit it’s getting harder to find the time to read non-academic-related books. You can add me on Goodreads. Basically, feel free to contact me to discuss academic or non-academic interests.
